About Paige

Hello and welcome! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Washington, and a Certified Canadian Counsellor credentialed through the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. This means I see people remotely in Washington State, as well as all over Canada.

I specialize in working with couples and individuals in the perinatal period - preparing yourself and your relationship to welcome another life into the world in the most connecting way is a deep passion of mine. I am a Perinatal Mental Health specialist with certification through Perinatal Support International. Outside of the perinatal period, I also support couples with learning new communication techniques and tools, and often support couples where one or both partners are living with ADHD or couples who are preparing themselves for marriage/ lifelong commitment (premarital counseling). As a Certified Prepare & Enrich Premarital Facilitator, as well as a Certified Bringing Baby Home Provider, I have the knowledge and tools to guide you whether you are transitioning into marriage or into becoming a cohesive parenting unit.

I am specifically trained in family and relationship systems. I have been formally trained in the Gottman Method of couples therapy and love helping couples build their friendship, have safe and successful conflict, and guide conversations around their hopes and dreams for the future. I am solution-oriented and as such want to help you get tools and techniques to improve your life right now.

I also recognize that the relationship with yourself is the one that takes the most work and is the most rewarding. I help individuals who want to grow in their self compassion and kindness, individuals who want to practice setting boundaries, and individuals who struggle with setting high expectations of themselves. In combining all of these areas, I often support high achieving women as they struggle with burnout from undiagnosed/newly diagnosed ADHD.

I also understand how our past integrates into every part of our present and future, and as such am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I specialize in helping individuals and couples understand that relationship work, whether with yourself or others, is trauma work.

My life experiences include being a queer, small-fat, white cis-woman living with chronic illness and a neurodivergent mind. I believe it can be very impactful to know your therapist has similar life experiences, but welcome those from all walks of life into my therapy room. I believe all people should have access to learn how to create healthy, happy relationships and lives, regardless of their sexuality, race, religion, relationship status, or relationship structure.
